Advisory work, held by the person who starts it.
Oznet is a small corporate advisory firm in Dubai Media City. One advisor holds a client file from the first call through licensing, banking, visas and the years of filings that follow — which means the work here is broader, and the responsibility more visible, than in a firm that hands a client between departments.
What the job is actually like.
No two files are the same, and none of them are theoretical. Within a few months you will have taken a company from an idea to a licence, a bank account and a set of visas.
Whole files, not fragments
You see a client from the first conversation to the annual filings, so you learn how a decision made at formation shows up two years later in tax and banking.
Real technical ground
UAE corporate tax, free zone qualifying income, UBO and AML obligations, immigration procedure. The team is expected to know the rules, not just the portals.
Direct client contact
Founders, finance directors and investors, most of them entering the UAE for the first time. You will be in those conversations early rather than behind them.
A firm small enough to shape
Process, templates and the way we explain things to clients are all still being written. Good suggestions get adopted quickly.
The roles we hire for.
We keep this list open year-round and interview when a strong application arrives, whether or not a seat is vacant that week. Apply to the closest fit — we will tell you honestly where you stand.
Accountant
Bookkeeping and management accounts on Odoo, Zoho Books and QuickBooks, VAT returns and corporate tax workings, and the year-end file behind them.
Tax Consultant
Corporate tax and VAT positions, free zone qualifying income assessments, registrations and returns, and written advice a client can act on.
Company Formation Specialist
Mainland and free zone incorporations end to end: activity selection, name reservation, approvals, licensing and the zone portals behind each.
PRO & Government Relations Specialist
Immigration and labour files, medicals and Emirates ID, establishment cards, and the counter work that keeps a visa moving.
Business Development Executive
Advisory-led business development: qualifying enquiries properly, explaining structure honestly, and building referral relationships that last.
Marketing & Communications Specialist
Technical content on UAE structure, tax and compliance, plus the website, search and campaigns that carry it.
HR Coordinator
Recruitment, onboarding, our own labour and visa compliance, and the records behind both.
The things that matter more than a CV line.
Accuracy under pressure
A licence application with the wrong activity, or a return filed on a wrong assumption, costs a client months. Care is the first requirement of every role here.
Plain explanation
You can tell a client what the rule is, what it means for them, and what happens if they ignore it — in writing, without jargon and without overpromising.
Ownership
Files here are named, not pooled. We look for people who chase the missing document rather than logging that it is missing.
A relevant degree and UAE experience help, and fluency in Arabic or Portuguese alongside English is genuinely useful across our client book — but we would rather see careful thinking in an interview than a long list of previous employers. All roles are based in our Dubai Media City office.
Tell us which role, and why you.
