No one can guarantee you a bank account. Here is what actually works.
UAE banks make independent compliance decisions, and a firm that promises an approval is telling you something untrue. What can be controlled — and what decides most outcomes — is the quality of the file a bank receives. Most rejections we are asked to rescue were documentation failures, not genuine risk refusals.
Banks reject files, not businesses.
Four failures account for most of the rejections that reach our desk. None of them is about the underlying business being unbankable.
The rationale doesn’t land
The application never explains, in a compliance officer’s terms, why this business exists in the UAE and what the account is for. A paragraph written for a brochure fails here.
Source of funds is asserted, not evidenced
“Personal savings” is a claim. Statements, sale agreements and dividend records are evidence. Banks act on the second and file the first.
The flows don’t match the licence
Expected inbound and outbound payments that don’t line up with the licensed activity read as risk. This is usually a formation problem surfacing a month later.
The bank can’t read the activity
Some free zone activity descriptions mean nothing to a bank’s onboarding system. The fix belongs at zone selection, not at the branch.

We prepare the file as if we were the ones reviewing it.
Business rationale drafted for compliance, source-of-funds documentation assembled and cross-checked, expected transaction flows mapped to the licence, and the structure explained in one page a reviewer can approve without a meeting. Then the submission goes to the institutions whose appetite actually fits the profile — matching the business to the bank, rather than sending one file everywhere and hoping.
In our signed proposals we quote five to seven working days for the banking stage on a prepared file. What we do not quote is an approval, because it is not ours to give.
Working relationships, in our own name.
Oznet signed a Master General Framework Agreement with Mashreq in June 2026 as a NeoBiz business introducer. Emirates NBD holds the firm’s own accounts, with an assigned relationship team and client applications submitted through it; Emirates Islamic is our settlement bank of record. These are relationships with paper behind them — and none of them obliges any bank to approve any client, which is exactly how it should be.
Two practices, twelve services — and the same advisor across all of them.

Or better, come before there is a file at all. Forty minutes on your structure, your flows and your history usually tells us which institutions are worth your time.
